Each unit comprised 35 tonnes fabrication, built to accuracy levels which demanded the best of modern manufacturing techniques, in order to achieve the extremely high tolerances required.

The complete preparation and painting of the superstructures was carried out at Qualter Hall’s own facility at our factory in Barnsley.
