Refurbishment of Swing Bridge | Kings Lynn

The scope of works included for the detail design, procurement, manufacture, assembly, works testing, delivery, installation and commissioning of the equipment provided including the following:-
- Hydraulic operating drive mechanism for the swing bridge to replace the existing water hydraulic system including all cylinders, chain and wheels.
- New main lifting beam, incorporated into the bridge.
- Pump house/operators cabin (industrial container modified) to house the equipment including electrical services and foundation works.
- Cable/pipework civil trench work requirements on South Side.
- Hydraulic power pack system and pipework.
- All electrical control equipment required to operate and control the bridge.
The controls and hydraulic power pack include provision to incorporate for future North Bridge hydraulic operation.
