Our aims are focussed on producing world class products that continually satisfy the needs and expectations of all our customers in all aspects of quality, cost, performance, safety and reliability.
These aims are consistently achieved by our total commitment to effective quality at every level within the business, and by the implementation of our quality system which is structured to satisfy the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001 (Quality Management Systems) and DIN Standard 6700 Part 2 (Verification of Suitability for Welding Railway Vehicles and Vehicle Parts).
The system is maintained by a regular cycle of internal audits carried out by trained auditors, an annual management review and independent audits carried out by our customers and BSI Quality Assurance.
By fostering the idea of a team approach within the organisation and continuously improving our systems, processes and procedures we ensure efficiency and quality at all levels.
Our continued profitability is a quantifiable measure of our ability to continue to satisfy our customers.
In recognising the importance of quality we have appointed a management representative who has the authority and responsibility to manage, monitor, evaluate and co-ordinate the quality management system.
Ultimate responsibility within the company is that of the Managing Director.
All personnel have the authority to carry out their duties within the scope of their defined responsibilities. It is a mandatory condition of employment that all personnel follow the agreed procedures in maintaining the highest levels of quality at all times.
We realise that people are our greatest asset and their continuing training and development is the duty of management at all levels.
This policy statement is issued to all personnel, displayed on company notice boards and included in company literature.
As with all of our corporate policies, the quality policy is periodically reviewed.
